Who is it suitable for? 

Anyone who works or wishes to work in support roles such as classroom assistants and learning support assistants.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to be least 16 years old and it is recommended that you have a GCSE or equivalent at D grade or above.

​How is it assessed?

It will be assessed by your tutor by written assignments.

Do you need to be working to take this qualification?

Yes, you will need to be employed or working as a volunteer in a school setting.

How long does it take to complete?

You can usually complete it in a year.
